This course is developed as an introductory hands on course on Web design, Web development, related multimedia and document processing. This course will cover: 1) authoring languages and presentation software for multimedia processing, for media types such as text, sound, still images, animation, and video; 2) fundamental tools for Web design and development, including HTML, CSS and optional JavaScript client-side programming. A hands-on and lab based apporach will be emphasized. (3-0-3)
