Admissions, Financial Aid & Registration

Admissions

Before you can register for an eMajor course, you must be admitted to a USG eMajor Institution. If you are not already admitted to one of these institutions, your first step is to apply for admission.

Unsure which eMajor program or institution is the right fit for you? Need an unofficial transcript evaluation? Either fill out our Request for Information form or contact your personal Enrollment Navigator.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid comes in many forms: federal aid through the FAFSA either as loans or grants, scholarships, veterans’/military benefits, or tuition assistance.

Federal Aid

Funding assistance through the FAFSA is available to students taking eMajor courses with a traditional or transient status, just as it is for on-campus courses. Please contact the Financial Aid Office at your home institution to determine your aid eligibility and to obtain instructions on how to apply for aid.

Scholarships

Institutional and outside scholarships can be used to help pay your tuition and fees. Please contact your home institutions’ Admissions and/or Financial Aid Office for information on their specific scholarships. Looking for outside scholarships to apply for? Check out scholarships.com or fastweb.com, as well as check with local civic organizations you’re a member of.

Veterans’ Benefits

If you, a spouse, or guardian have been in the military then you may qualify for benefits. Check with your home institutions’ Veterans Office or Specialist for more information.

Tuition Assistance

Employees of the University System of Georgia may be eligible to register for eMajor courses through the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP). Not a USG employee? No problem! Your employer may also provide tuition assistance in various forms. Please contact your employers’ HR office for more information.

Register

The eMajor introduction quiz is only required before registering for your FIRST eMajor course. Returning eMajor students are able to register for subsequent eMajor courses without completing the quiz again. Please contact your campus eMajor Liaison if you experience any issues with registration.
