Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of how environmental forces affect marketing decisions and be able to apply this knowledge.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of marketing information for gaining insights about the marketplace and be able to apply this knowledge.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of social media marketing and the 4E framework.
- Identify the appropriate promotion tools for communicating with customers and understand the importance of integrated marketing communications.
- Demonstrate an understanding of international, ethical, and social issues as they apply to marketing.
- Develop a marketing plan that demonstrates the ability to reach a selected target market through the marketing mix.
