What is my GoVIEW login?

Usernames

Most usernames will be the same as your campus email username prefix followed by an underscore (_) plus an assigned acronym for your campus, but please see below for institution-specific information.

Passwords

Your password will be your Banner password established at the time you registered for your eMajor course. If you cannot remember your password or have password issues, you may access the "Forgot Password?" link directly under the login area on the GoVIEW site, https://go.view.usg.edu. When clicking on the "Forgot Password" link, you will need to type in your username in the format listed. The password reset link will be emailed to your campus email address. The email will be sent from donotreply@donotreply.view.usg.edu.


Log in to your eMajor course on the first day of class or as soon as possible thereafter and complete any mandatory attendance activities as outlined in your syllabus. See the eMajor Calendar for class start date and log in deadline for the session in which you are enrolled.

How to be counted "PRESENT" in your eMajor class

  • Log in to GoVIEW using the information found in your eMajor Welcome Letter.
  • Review the course syllabus for any mandatory attendance activities required by your instructor.

Please note: Instructors are not obligated to accept any excuse for course inactivity due to technical problems. It is your responsibility to report technical problems to the USG D2L Help Center as they occur or contact eMajor Administrative Services at emajor@ecampus.usg.edu or 678-839-6400 or toll-free, 1-855-9eMajor (1-855-936-2567).

For Attendance Verification

You must log in to your eMajor class by the log in deadline (the earlier the better) and participate in the course by completing any mandatory attendance activities required by your instructor, or you will be reported as non-attending. If you are reported as non-attending, you may be withdrawn or dropped by your home institution.

If you are enrolled in more than one eMajor class, you must complete any mandatory attendance activities in each class you are enrolled in during the term.
