PMGT 4180 - Project Risk and Control Management

Description

This course focuses on project management from a risk management perspective. Topics covered include risk assessment, risk analysis, risk management, planning and controlling risk mitigation.


Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to:

  1. Identify project risks by using various identification tools. 
  2. Prepare a risk management plan. 
  3. Estimate the impact and timing of risks on projects. 
  4. Determine and apply appropriate risk response strategies based on risk analysis. 
  5. Demonstrate how to control identified and possible risks according to the risk management plan.
  6. Communicate the risk management plan effectively with stakeholders.
