Description

This course covers the sequential roles of internal and external organizational units in supply chain management. Topics covered are inventory management, warehousing, distribution, and facility location decisions in the business environment.


Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to:

  1. Describe the key attributes of supply chain management.
  2. Identify key supply chain risks, and actions to minimize those risks. 
  3. Describe the key aspects of managing suppliers and the associated benefits and risks. 
  4. Explain global supply chains complexities.
  5. Describe supply chain ethical issues and actions businesses can take to avoid ethical issues.
