Description

Explore key aspects of learning and teaching through examining your own learning processes and those of others, with the goal of applying your knowledge to enhance the learning of all students in a variety of educational settings and contexts.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe key learning theories and developmental principles and explain how they inform effective teaching practices and student engagement.
  • Identify factors that influence learning - such as motivation, culture, prior knowledge, and relationships - and discuss how these impact students' academic and social development.
  • Reflect on personal beliefs, learning experiences, and biases to develop an emerging understanding of how teachers create supportive and equitable learning environments for all students.
