POLS 4200 - Principles of Public Administration

Description

This course provides the student with an overview of the principles of public administration. Throughout the course the student will learn a number of key principles and how they are applied. By the end of the course, the student will have learned the basic principles of public administration and will be able to effectively apply these principles.

Learning Objectives

After completing this course, students will be able to demonstrate:

  • An understanding of the structure of public organizations and agencies.
  • an understanding of the role and responsibility of the government organization in society.
  • an insight into the workings of public agencies and
  • an ability to research and analyze topics of public administration.
