Description

This course emphasizes a skills-based approach instructing students the use of project management software tools in organizing, planning, and scheduling projects from inception to completion.

Learning Objectives

  • Produce a project plan using a project management software package.
  • Organize a project using a project management software package.
  • Explain how to monitor a project using a project management software package.
  • Develop and describe the benefits of a work-breakdown structure for the project.
  • Utilize project management software functions including, scope management, timeline management, resource allocation, risk management, and budgeting.
  • Develop adaptive schedules for the project plan using a software application.
