ORGD 3600 - Technology for Organizational Growth

Description

This course explores how digital tools and technology - including applications of artificial intelligence (AI) - can be leveraged to support the growth and sustainability of organizations. Students will gain hands-on experience with web design platforms, social media management tools, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, data analytics, and AI-enhanced applications. Topics include digital marketing, e-commerce basics, online branding, website development, AI-supported decision tools, and the integration of technology into operational workflows.

Learning Objectives

  • Apply digital tools, including AI-supported applications, to support marketing, communication, and customer engagement across multiple platforms.
  • Design and publish a basic website using accessible web development tools that align with organizational goals and branding.
  • Develop a digital marketing plan, incorporating email campaigns, social media, content strategy, and appropriate AI tools.
