FinTech Courses

Financial technology, or FinTech, encompasses the continued modernization and digitization of the financial industry. Students interested in this growing field can explore topics ranging from the foundations of FinTech and financial data analytics to information security, payment processing, digital payment security, and emerging payment technologies.

These courses provide an opportunity to explore FinTech as an elective or as a potential academic and career path. The curriculum was developed through the Georgia FinTech Academy in collaboration with Georgia State University and Kennesaw State University. Course delivery varies by offering and includes online, fully online, and hybrid collaborative formats through participating public colleges and universities in the University System of Georgia.

The digital payments courses are also included in the FinTech minor (opens in new tab) available exclusively at Kennesaw State University. Check with your academic advisor about course availability and potential FinTech certifications or credentials offered by your institution.
