POLS 3201 - Public Policy

Description

An analysis of diverse public policy issues, as well as the decision process leading to the formulation of government policy. An analysis of societal factors that influence policy, and the effect of government policy on society.


Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to:

  1. Understand the processes leading to public policy;
  2. Understand the outcomes and consequences of public policy on society;
  3. Understand the components of various public policies, and;
  4. Ability to research, write and communicate the aspects of public.
