Before Advisement

• Students must be fully admitted to the University of West Georgia.
• Fully online students do not have to turn in immunization records, however they must complete the Immunization exemption.
• Complete the required UWG Online Orientation, eCore Introduction Quiz and eMajor Introduction Quiz.
• Transfer students should wait for the Official Transcript Evaluation. This process can take up to about 3 weeks after you have been accepted to UWG.

Get Advised

Once you complete all previous steps, you are ready for course advisement. Go ahead and email your advisor your UWG Online Orientation Completion Certificate to set up a phone or face-to-face appointment (see below for assignment, based on your earned number of hours). Be sure to use your UWG email account. Your first email should include an introduction, with a minimum of:

1. Your student ID (917)
2. Are you a transfer student? First time student? A returning student?
3. Do you have a co-requisite requirement for English or Math?
4. Why did you choose the Organizational Leadership major?
5. Which semester would you like to start classes? How many classes?
